Marble Falls offers diverse real estate opportunities for young and old.

Welcome to Marcle Falls

Marble Falls offers diverse real estate opportunities for young and old: Main Street’s lofts are built above retail shops, restored Victorian beauties, luxurious lakeside estates, waterside cabins, neighborhoods adjacent to schools, and large or small Hill Country ranches. Real estate in Marble Falls offers great value for the money. Downtown condos start at around $200,000 while luxury waterfront estates in prime locations are offered at multi-million-dollar prices. In a relaxed Texas setting, where Austin and San Antonio are quickly accessible and Dallas, Houston, and Midland/Odessa are just a few hours away, Marble Falls is the hub for shopping, dining, entertainment, and medical services for Burnet County. It’s easily accessible to Austin from the south via Hwy 71 & from the north via Hwy 1431.

Located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, established in 1887, Marble Falls sits on the banks of Lake Marble Falls, between Lake LBJ to the north and Lake Travis to the south. The falls for which the City is named are now underwater but are revealed every few years when the lake is lowered by the Lower Colorado River Authority for maintenance and repairs.

Austin’s eclectic vibe is just down the road, and with a nod to cowboy influences from the West, Marble Falls exists at an artistic crossroads with venues and events that provide a rich array of culture and entertainment. The topography features rolling, wooded hills with breathtaking vistas of area lakes. Hunting, fishing, boating, golf, tennis, and outdoor activities are plentiful to enjoy year-round. Boating, swimming, tennis, disc golf, and skateboarding are available at city parks. Take in the scenic Hill Country landscape while enjoying native Texan wines. Several area wineries offer distinctive wines and tasting tours.

With vibrant neighborhoods built around each, The Highland Lakes area is a golfing mecca where courses range from quite playable to extremely demanding. Try your game at Horseshoe Bay Resort’s renowned Applerock, Ramrock, Slickrock, and Summit Rock courses, Escondido’s famous Tom Fazio course, Meadowlakes’ Hidden Falls Country Club, Kingsland’s Lighthouse Country Club or Legends Championship Course, or Blue Lake Estates’ Blue Lake Golf Club.

Baylor Scott & White’s state-of-the-art hospital and health care clinic, located near the intersection of US 281 and SH 71, opened in June of 2013. Marble Falls EMS provides emergency response services, and a critical care helicopter is co-located with the Marble Falls Fire Department for service into Austin and San Antonio.
