What’s the difference between a traditional brokerage and a real estate team?
In a traditional brokerage, agents run their own independent business. They provide their own technology, manage their own advertising, and do (or hire out) every task required to buy or sell real estate.
A real estate team, on the other hand, is a completely different model. Teams divide and conquer. Each member of a true real estate team is an expert. Just like at the doctor’s office, each specialist concentrates on what they do best and delegates other tasks to someone who’s more qualified.
Team leadership provides the vision, the standards, and the financial foundation for the entire team. Licensed agents represent buyers and sellers, and they often concentrate on one or the other. This way, other teammates can handle the important supplementary tasks involving technology, staging, marketing, advertising, data entry, etc.

Dividing tasks by skill makes a team more efficient and more profitable. Teams also have larger budgets for marketing and technology. The best benefit, though, is that this proficiency provides far better customer service.
