I’m here today with my co-listing agent, Nicole Deal, who will be speaking with us about the listing process.
Nicole’s job is to supervise the front end of the listing process. She’s responsible for everything that happens when listing, from the initial contact with a potential buyer to the property going under contract. One of the most important aspects she handles is acting as an internet sales associate (ISA). Many leads come from our online marketing, and Nicole follows up with these interested sellers to see where they are in the process.
Numbers are important in real estate, and Nicole keeps track of these for our team. She publishes the Busse Insider newsletter, which pulls numbers by category, city, and price range. This helps to keep clients and teammates up to date with current market trends.

Nicole also takes care of potential clients who want to know the value of their home. Using the local MLS, she pulls the most recent active and sold listings for comparable homes to find a value. When a client decides to list with us, Nicole first ensures that all the listing paperwork is compliant with the state. After this, she gets any other documents an agent may need to put a home under contract.
On top of all this, Nicole handles the marketing for our listing clients. She oversees the 47 steps that are done by team members to get a home under contract, then the contract-to-close steps are handled by those responsible for back-end processes.
